Genoa based shipping agents and forwarders, counselled by Studio Legale De André, win a case at Consiglio di Stato.

Consiglio di Stato – the Italian Authority in charge of judicial review of administrative actions – cancelled the  € 4 million fine imposed by the Italian Antitrust Authority on 15 Genoa-based shipping agents and trade associations for an alleged cartel, namely price fixing arrangements covering  some shipping and forwarding services from 2004 to 2009.

In 2012, the TAR (Regional Administrative Court of Lazio) upheld the appeal and cancelled the decision of the Antitrust Authority dated 22nd  February 2012. The legal battle which lasted three years also involved the Association of Genoa-based Shipping Agents,  counselled by Ivano Vigliotti of De André Law Firm, Pietro Palandri of Mordiglia Law Firm, and all major shipping agents in the Port of Genoa, including one counselled by Ariel Dello Strologo and Paolo Momigliano, of studio De André and by Andrea Mozzati lawyer specializing in administrative issues.
